This is natural and more ore less an accident. But a lucky one. In the window where several flowers ( mostly Phalaenopsis you can find some of them in my gallery ) and a cut glass ball with 70mm in diameter and about 140 triangular faces. This ball throws spectra at the ceiling and the walls of our living room when the sun shines.
The Phalaenopsis just happened to be in the way of the light. The plant was aligned to have as many spectra as possible on it and several photos taken. Afterwards I selected the best one, adjusted some of the shadows - especially in the mouth - with the jpg-illuminator and loaded ist up.
